Alcohol + Ebay = Badness!


Some people know that one of the last things I should do when I have had a couple of drinks is go and see what fabulous things that I really want and really need people are selling on ebay. This is generally because after a couple of drinks I convince myself that I really want and really need every item that I look at.
There have been mornings when I have woken with a sense of dread having known that I have bid on something but not remembering exactly what. Sometimes I would breath a sigh of relief after checking to find I had only bought a cheap 8x10 photo of Burt Reynalds* or a pumpkin necklace.** Another time I awoke to find I had bid £55 for a copy of Two-Lane Blacktop which I wasn't entirely sure would play on my player. Fortunately I was out bid on that one.
This morning was almost one of those mornings. Last night I was checking for some quite normal items (new clothes for my holiday and other sensible things) when I somehow nearly ended up bidding on the above pictured item. Someone please tell me what possible need I could have for a 7 piece Miami Dolphins cheeleaders outfit. It is a bagain at $32.85 I thought. I am not even entirely sure how I found the item in the first place but thank goodness it was only a couple of drinks I had had, or I might now be awaiting its arrival.
Still, I am 100% sober right now and you do have to admitt, it does look very pretty.


* It was from Smokey and the Bandit. I love that film.

** I like pumpkins. And necklaces. It was a perfect combo.
